How do I add someone to the roster?

Modified on Sat, 4 Jun, 2022 at 6:00 PM

To build add a player to a roster, a team invite link (called the Funlink) is sent and must be clicked by the invitee to accept/decline their spot. The waiver is signed when accepting a roster invite. The Captain is the only player with access to the Funlink, however they can send it to anyone, who can then send it out.

A payment amount can be included in a team’s Funlink, meaning a player must pay their portion in order to be officially added to the roster. The Captain sets the amount, and the payment reduces the team balance once paid.

For the first two weeks of a season, rosters can be edited (players added/removed). At the field during these two weeks, Underdog Staff can send a Funlink to a non-rostered player to add a player to the roster and sign the waiver.

Click the Attendance icon*. Click “Send Funlink” below the listed roster Graphical user interface, text, application

*The Funlink is NOT available for Indy Teams. The Indy Coordinator will add any pre-approved subs to the roster.

The player will be texted the invite from Underdog (NOT from the Staff’s phone number) to their phone and should follow the link to sign the waiver and accept their spot fully before playing.

Staff should refresh the Attendance page before the game to ensure the player is now officially on the roster.

If a Captain has a question about building their roster in the first two weeks, refer them to:

Rosters lock the day after the 2nd week of games, and players cannot be added/removed without help from the office.

Only players on the roster are eligible for playoffs.
