If a team forfeits, do they not make the playoffs?

A forfeit doesn't automatically disqualify a team from making the playoffs, but we do take it into account when putting together the brackets and seeding. If a team has the same number of standings points as another team, they may be ranked lower or not included because of that forfeit. 

Teams with multiple forfeits or a no-show on the final week of the regular season are also more likely to be left out of the playoffs regardless of their regular season wins.
