On rare occasions, someone will show up to a league without having a team to play on. This can be because of a couple of things:
1) The person thinks our leagues are open play, or the type of league where you just show up and we'll take care of them.
2) The person signed up as an Indy or Free Agent and didn't get put on a team.
3) The person signed up, was waitlisted, and is hoping to just talk to all the captains to see if they need someone.
In all three cases, you should have the person leave. In the first case, you should direct them to our website and have them look at which leagues they can sign up for in the future.
In the second two cases, we didn't have room for the person, so hanging out isn't going to help them out and will just create an awkward situation for each team being asked if they need extra people.
DO NOT add them to the Indy team. The Indy team is likely full and adding this person will cause them to jump the line, over-fill the team and create less playing time for the people who have paid to play.
Additionally, in rare cases, the player may have been deemed a bad fit for the league or for Indy teams and may have intentionally been left off of a team.
