How does the supervisor bonus work?

Modified on Fri, 29 Apr, 2022 at 3:05 PM

The supervisor bonus pays the supervisor one extra hour on top of their normal shift pay. (Softball umpires will get 2/3 of a game, which is 1 hour).

Splitting Supervisor Bonus Time:

The supervisor bonus time (described above) is paid for providing gear and for reporting responsibilities -- a 50/50 split between the two tasks. This means that if two supervisors split these responsibilities the pay should be split as well.

Ex: Ref/Ump1: picks up gear and sets up field = 25% of Supervisor Bonus Time

Ref/Ump2: drops off gear and does the report = 75% of Supervisor Bonus Time

The bonus time may be reduced or not paid at all in the case of an incomplete or insufficient report, failure to pick up equipment, running a league without the proper safety equipment, or not completing other administrative duties.
